I have always used art to express myself. Drawing, photography, and videography is how I have always choose to release stress and anxiety. As an outdoorsmen it is common for me to take a camera or sketch book into the field.
As a teenager I started building websites that revolved around whatever hobby I was into at the time. By the time I was in my twenties it had become its own form of art for me.
Both of my parents worked for small businesses. I loved watching the passion the owners had for their work and the business. I was also astonished by the amount of discipline it takes to work for yourself. I knew that it was something I wanted to do for myself one day.

In 2017 I redesigned and rebuilt the website for my employer. Soon after that I did the same for my wife’s. Both were well thought out interactive sites that required me to take my own pictures & design my own graphics. A co-worker took note and had me do a site for their business. It was then I came to the realization that my passion wasn’t in starting a business but in helping other grow their’s.
There comes a point in every small business where the one who started it cant do it by themselves anymore. They can’t continue to wear all the hats. They may not be at a point where they can hire employees. That’s where I can help. I build websites to help answer customer questions, I take care of their social media. Everything I take off an owner’s plate allows them more time to focus on their passion.
Why we do it
I love small businesses. They run almost entirely off of hard work and passion. I take the time to become a member of their team. I have an emotional stake in their company. Helping them is my passion. Helping people is what my family has always done.
What is chi-locke?
“Chi-Locke” is a play on words deriving from the Scottish word for family, Teaghlach, pronounced chye-lukh.
My family immigrated here from Scotland around 1900, and our family history of service is very important to me.
Our logo is a variation of the Celtic Knot, which symbolizes family. For us, this symbolizes our family-owned business dedicating itself to helping yours. It pays tribute to the amount of heart and effort that goes into small business.
